October 2026: Pumpkin Carving Vegan Meetup
YYC Vegan Social and Kind Fork Faction are joining forces for our 2nd annual Pumpkin Carving Social. Last year we had so much fun that we decided to make it an annual tradition!
The evening will include fun, creativity, and a bit of friendly competition over who can curate the best jack-o’-lantern.
In addition to your pumpkin, bring a Halloween-themed snack to share.
We are grateful to our sponsor, Tuk Tuk Sensible Soda, for providing refreshing beverages to enjoy throughout the evening.

- Hall rental, tables, chairs, tablecloths, and compost/garbage

What to bring
- BYOP (bring your own pumpkin)
- Halloween Themed Snack to share (10 - 12 servings)
- Carving tools, and any design elements needed for your pumpkin carving
- Container to collect pumpkin seeds if you’re interested in roasting them afterwards
- Plate and utensils to avoid waste

Payment and Refund Policy
Once you have registered, send payment by e-transfer to yyc.vegansocial@gmail.com. Those who do not send payment within 3 days of registration will have their registration cancelled.
Due to the hall requiring pre-payment, we cannot issue refunds for any reason; however, once payment is received, you may transfer the ticket to another person if needed. You would be responsible for finding a person to transfer to, and should someone take your space, please email yyc.vegansocial@gmail.com so that we can change the name on the ticket. Thank you for understanding.
